What is Novel Knowledge Competition?
Novel Knowledge (NK) is a team reading competition for grades 4 - 6 that begins at each elementary site in the late
fall and ends with a district-wide competition mid-late spring.
VUSD has proudly sponsored the NK Competition for the past 20 years! This is a fun reading competition that allows
our dedicated readers the chance to shine at both site and district competitions.
