November 2023

1 in 30 youth ages 13 to 17 and 1 in 10 young adults ages 18 to 25 will experience some form of homelessness this year.
VUSD wants to highlight this month and use it to empower students and families experiencing housing instability through educational advocacy and support, and promote awareness and support for homeless students in our schools and community.

Foster & Homeless Youth Liaison
Vacaville Unified School District has a Foster & Homeless Youth Liaison who is available to assist foster youth and students without permanent housing, and their families with school enrollment, school placement and other educational issues.
