New Student Enrollment for 2024-25 will open on January 8, 2024
(2023-24 New Student enrollment is ongoing)

We are happy to welcome you to our school district!

New Student Enrollment for Vacaville Unified School District is an online process. Online enrollment is for students residing in the Vacaville Unified School District (VUSD) boundaries. Students that do not reside in VUSD need to complete the InterDistrict Agreement process and receive the approval letter from VUSD before they can complete the online enrollment process.

As required by State law, all children entering Kindergarten must be five years of age on or before September 1, 2024. If your student’s 5th birthday is between September 2, 2024 and June 1, 2025, they will be enrolled in Transitional Kindergarten. For first grade enrollment, California law requires a child to be six years of age on or before September 1 to be legally eligible for first grade. (EC Section 48010) See 24-25 Grade Level Chart

PLEASE NOTE: Your student’s enrollment ensures a seat at a school in Vacaville Unified. We make every effort to enroll your student at your school of residence. In some cases, classes at your school of residence may reach capacity, in which case we will work with you to place your student at a nearby school.

PLEASE NOTE: If your student has attended a VUSD school in the past (2023-2024 school year and before) you should not complete the online enrollment process. In this case, please contact your students' new VUSD school site. If you’re not sure which school site your student should be attending: check your school site here.

PLEASE NOTE: If your student is attending a specialized program or a VUSD charter school, check the Special Enrollment for Charters and Programs page for details about enrolling.
