Board Recognition: Jepson Outstanding VolunteersWillis Jepson Middle School is proud to recognize two exceptional individuals who contributed significantly to the school's vibrant dance program. Tess Johnson and Katherine Valencia have been selected as the school's 2023 Outstanding Volunteers.
As former members of the Willis Jepson Middle School and Vacaville High School Dance Drill Teams, Tess and Katherine have demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to excellence. Their passion for dance and dedication to the team has inspired and motivated students to reach their full potential.
Tess and Katherine's dance program involvement continued long after graduation. They arrive at the school before 7:00 am every Monday through Thursday to teach routines and help build a positive and collaborative team culture. Their creativity and dedication are reflected in the Dance Drill Team's performances at school assemblies, lunchtime events, and sports games.
The impact of Tess and Katherine's contributions to the Willis Jepson Middle School community cannot be overstated. Their tireless efforts have created a supportive and inclusive environment where students feel empowered to express themselves through dance. They serve as role models for their peers, inspiring a new generation of spirited Jaguars.
