The City of Vacaville's Housing and Community Services is sponsoring its third Annual Fair Housing Poster Contest. The contest provides an opportunity for students in grades 1–8 to put their creativity to work while learning about the Fair Housing Act of 1968. View or download the Fair Housing Poster Contest below.

Flyer for the City of Vacaville’s 3rd Annual Fair Housing Poster Contest, themed “What Does Fair Housing Mean to You?” The contest is open to students in grades 1 through 8. Participants are asked to create an original poster illustrating their interpretation of fair housing. Posters should be made on 8.5 by 11 inch paper, poster board, or similar material. Students must include their name, grade, school, email, and phone number on the back of their submission. Entries will be accepted from April 1 through April 25, 2026. Submissions can be mailed or delivered to the Housing and Community Services Department at 40 Eldridge Avenue, Suite 2, Vacaville, California 95688, or emailed to DHR@cityofvacaville.gov. Prizes will be awarded by grade level. The grand prize winner will receive a $100 gift card and be recognized at a City Council meeting in May. Additional prizes include first place ($75 gift card), second place ($50 gift card), and third place ($25 gift card).
