Lifeguard Certification – City of Vacaville
Are you interested in becoming a certified lifeguard? The City of Vacaville is offering Lifeguard Certification courses for individuals ages 15 and older.
Participants will receive comprehensive training in:

Adult, child, and infant CPR

Water safety and water rescues
-
First aid
-
Emergency response procedures
Upon successful completion, participants will earn a 2-year American Red Cross Certification in:

Lifeguarding
-
First Aid
-
CPR
-
AED
Employment Incentive
Participants who successfully apply and are hired by the City of Vacaville Aquatics Program will receive a 50% reimbursement of course fees after completing 300 hours of work.
