Update to Parents from Superintendent Jane Shamieh - August 6, 2020

Superintendent Jane Shamieh sent an update on August 6th with a welcome back message for our students and families. The letter included additional information about student technology and child nutrition. Reopening Schools Plan and Letter from Superintendent Jane Shamieh - July 28, 2020

Superintendent Jane Shamieh sent a letter to Vacaville Unified families and staff on July 28th which included information about and a link to the VUSD 20-21 Reopening Schools Plan. This letter also included information about the revision to the start date of the school year. The first day of the 20-21 school year will be Monday, August 17th. To view the letter, click here. Reopening School Letter from Superintendent Jane Shamieh - July 20, 2020

Superintendent Jane Shamieh sent a letter to Vacaville Unified families and staff regarding the start of the 20-21 school year. Per Governor Newsom's guidelines released on Friday, July 17, 2020, Solano County schools are currently mandated to begin with full distance-learning. View this letter here.

Reopening School Letter from Superintendent Jane Shamieh - July 8, 2020

Superintendent Jane Shamieh sent a letter to Vacaville Unified families and staff on July 8, 2020. This letter contained information regarding the Board of Education's decision regarding the reopening of schools for the 2020-2021 school year. View this letter here.

approved Plan for Reopening schools for the 2020-2021 school year

The School Board approved the Reopening School Proposals as presented at the Board meeting on Tuesday, July 7. At the time of approval, the state of California was in Stage 3. Per the approved plan, Stage 3 allows for 50% of students to be on campus. View the entire presentation here, which includes teacher and certificated survey results.
