To enroll a child at one of the schools in Vacaville Unified, go directly to the school for your attendance area. Use the School Area Locator web site to check for attendance area of your school, or call the Vacaville Unified District Office at 453-6100 during business hours for questions about attendance areas.
Proof of residence in the form of a PG&E or cable bill is required for all new students.
All students entering grades 7-12 need proof of an adolescent whooping cough booster (Tdap shot) before they may attend. For more information about Tdap both English and Spanish, see the documents posted to the Health Services page.

HOW DO I KNOW WHICH SCHOOL IS MY SCHOOL OF RESIDENCE?
Use the
School Area Locator web site to view the established boundaries for each school. For Open Enrollment purposes, the school your child should attend according to where you live is his/her school of residence.
HOW DO I REQUEST A DIFFERENT SCHOOL FOR MY SON/DAUGHTER?
Open Enrollment is available to students of secondary schools only. Applications are available at the Vacaville Unified School District Educational Services Center, located at 401 Nut Tree Road, during the Open Enrollment period which runs from February 1st through February 28th, 2013.

WHAT IF I LIVE OUTSIDE OF THE DISTRICT?
Current Interdistrict Attendance Agreements must be renewed annually through the District Office for the school district where you reside. Only residents of Vacaville Unified School District can participate in the Open Enrollment process.
AM I ASSURED OF THE CLASS OR PROGRAM I REQUEST?
No. The number of classes and the time of day the classes are offered determine whether a student is scheduled into a specific class or program. There is no guarantee a student will be placed in a certain class or program.
