Lunch Menus/Nutrition

The Nutrition Department of Vacaville Unified maintains its own web site for posting lunch menus and nutrition information. Please use the links at left to visit their pages.

The Child Nutrition Department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well-being and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.

Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.

Free and Reduced Lunch

The Vacaville Unified School District takes part in the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs, offering meals every school day. Lunch is $2.50 for students in grades K-6, $3.25 for students in grades 7-8,  and $3.50 for students in grades 9 - 12.  Breakfast is $1.25 for K-6 students and $1.50 for those in grades 7-12. Though meals are very reasonably priced many families are eligible for free meals. Apply online at the Nutrition Department web site or view related documents in both English and Spanish.
