                <description><![CDATA[Measure V Update July 2012 The Vacaville Unified School District successfully passed Measure V, a local school facilities general obligation bond on the November 6, 2001 local election ballot. Passage of Measure V generated $101.3 million for school renovation and construction projects throughout the district. Measure V has also allowed the district to receive over $34 million in State matching funds for facilities renovation and construction. Other funding sources have included developer fees and interest earnings from the bond. Altogether the Measure V facilities program has made possible over $157 million in total facilities funding for school renovations and construction.
