At its June 28 meeting the Board of Education adopted a new board policy on Bullying. BP 5131.2 (attached below) recognizes the harmful effect of bullying on student learning and attendance. The policy directs district staff to establish student safety as a high priority and not tolerate bullying of any student - whether physical, written, verbal, or by other means such as cyberbullying.
