Measure V Update - December 2007

 

A groundbreaking ceremony for the New Science Building at Will C. Wood High School was held on November 15, 2007.  Under the bright sun, speakers included Superintendent John Aycock, Principal Chris Strong, Kaitlin Bosler, WCW Student Body President, Mayor Len Augustine, Dawn La Bar, Field Representative for Assemblywoman Lois Wolk, Jay Yerkes, VUSD Board of Education President, and Ted Beecher, Measure V Citizens’ Oversight Committee Chairman.  The Will C. Wood Jazz Band, led by Music Director Aaron Smith, opened the ceremony with great music.
